HEARTH.

The bowl that pays attention.

“Is she eating and drinking normally?” is one of the first questions a vet asks. Most of us can only guess. Hearth is designed to replace the guess with a record.

Concept render of Hearth, a low matte-black station with two steel bowls and a charging cradle holding Kite

Design intent

How it’s designed to work.

01

Weighs, doesn’t watch

Load sensors under the food and water bowls record how much is taken and when. No camera. No microphone.

02

Knows who’s eating

In multi-pet homes, Hearth is designed to use Kite’s proximity to tell pets apart at the bowl.

03

Easy to keep clean

Bowls lift out without tools and are designed to be dishwasher-safe.

04

Kite’s home base

A charging cradle on the side keeps the collar sensor topped up.

Tempo inside

What Tempo does with it.

Tempo learns each pet’s usual amounts and rhythm, then flags lasting changes, such as drinking noticeably more for several days or skipping a usual meal pattern.

What it doesn’t do

  • Dispense food
  • Recommend a diet or portion size
  • Give nutritional or medical advice

Private by design.

  • Records weight changes and timestamps only.
  • No camera and no microphone, by design.
