One pet at a time
Individuals, not averages.
Every product decision starts with one specific animal, not a population chart.
SACOM PET is an independent product company in California. We build AI-enabled hardware and software that help people notice the small changes in their pets’ lives, sooner.

Our story
We are pet lovers. That’s the whole origin, and it’s enough.
Anyone who lives with an animal knows the feeling: something seems slightly off, and you can’t say what. A little slower on the stairs. The water bowl empty sooner than it should be. Up at three in the morning, again. Pets adapt, and they hide it well. By the time a change is obvious, it has often been going on for a while.
We started SACOM PET to help with that. We build hardware and software that pay attention to the ordinary: how a pet moves, rests, eats, drinks and roams. Over time, that ordinary becomes a personal baseline. When it shifts, you should know early and clearly, without being alarmed.
We aren’t trying to replace your vet. We want you to walk into the clinic with better questions, and with more than a feeling.
How we build
Product, design and engineering, held to the same standard: would we put it on our own animals?
Individuals, not averages.
Every product decision starts with one specific animal, not a population chart.
Hardware and software together.
Sensor, home station, app and AI are designed as one system, so a change in one is never a surprise to the others.
If they won’t wear it, it doesn’t work.
Weight, shape, fit and silence come before features. A device in a drawer collects nothing.
Evidence, not verdicts.
Every flag explains what changed and the data behind it. Medical conclusions belong to your vet.
Collect less. Keep it yours.
We collect what the product needs, keep it as long as you choose, and never sell it.
Say where we are.
Specifications get published when they’re measured. Products get called available when they are.
Principles
Pets differ by breed, age, temperament and household. A population threshold is wrong for most of them.
→ Tempo compares each pet only with its own baseline. No scores, no rankings.
An alert you learn to ignore is worse than no alert at all.
→ A change has to persist before Tempo raises it. Routine data stays in the timeline.
Location and health signals are intimate. They belong to the household.
→ No sale of data, no ad profiles, no insurers. Export and delete built in.
Where we are now
We’re building Kite, Hearth, Daybook and Tempo as one system: hardware, app and AI designed together. Early access opens to the waitlist first. This site shows the design intent behind each product and the principles we hold ourselves to. Product images are concept renders.
