Who we are
SACOM PET LLC (“SACOM PET”, “we”, “us”) is a California limited liability company. This policy explains what we collect and why. Part A covers this website as it works today. Part B covers our products (Kite, Hearth, Daybook and Tempo), which are in development and not yet available; it describes how we will handle data when they launch. We will update this policy, and notify you, before any product collects data.
Part A: This website, today
- Forms. This website has no forms that send or store personal information. The waitlist button opens your own email app.

- Cookies and tracking. The site sets no cookies and uses no analytics or advertising trackers. See the Cookie Notice.
- Sale and sharing. We don’t sell or share personal information, as those terms are defined under California law.

Sensitive personal information
Precise geolocation is sensitive personal information under California law. We will use it only to provide the services you request, and not to infer anything about you beyond that.
How we will use data
To provide and improve the services you use, keep them secure, and communicate with you about your account. Using data to improve Tempo is opt-in, off by default, and uses de-identified data only.
What we will not do
- Sell personal information or pet data.
- Share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.
- Build advertising profiles.
- Share it with insurers, data brokers or other third parties for their own purposes.
Service providers and sharing you start
We will use vendors such as cloud hosting, connectivity and email delivery providers. They process data only on our instructions, under contracts that restrict their use of it. We will list the categories of providers here at launch.
If you share a vet summary or invite a household member, we share the data you selected with the people you chose. Vet summary links are designed to expire. We may disclose data if the law requires it; where permitted, we will tell you first.
Retention and security
- Location history follows a retention setting you control, with a default we will publish at launch.
- Other pet data is kept while your account is active.
- When you delete your account, we delete or de-identify your data within a period we will state at launch, except where the law requires us to keep it. Backups age out on a schedule.
- We will use reasonable safeguards, including encryption in transit and at rest. No system is perfectly secure.
Your California privacy rights
If you’re a California resident, you have the right to:
- Know what personal information we collect, use and disclose.
- Access a copy of it in a portable format.
- Correct inaccurate information.
- Delete it, subject to legal exceptions.
- Opt out of sale or sharing. We don’t sell or share, but you may still submit this request.
- Limit the use of sensitive personal information. We already limit it to providing the service.
- Not be discriminated against for exercising these rights.
How to make a request
Email info@sacom.pet. Once the products launch, you can also use the in-app export and delete tools. We will verify your identity before acting on a request, and you may use an authorized agent. We will respond within the timeframes the law requires. We aim to give the same core rights (access, correction, deletion and portability) to everyone, wherever they live.
Children
The website and products aren’t directed to children under 13, and we don’t knowingly collect their personal information. Accounts will be for adults. If you believe a child has given us personal information, email info@sacom.pet and we will delete it.
Changes and contact
We will post updates here with a new date. For material changes, especially before any product begins collecting data, we will notify account holders directly. Questions: info@sacom.pet. SACOM PET LLC, California.
